Our Long Island work videos show glass double doors, overhead locking hardware and a magnetic lock at a glass entrance. These are documented examples of the type of entrance equipment visible in our work. The footage helps customers recognize the arrangement, but it does not establish that the same hardware is suitable for every glass door.
Glass entrances depend on compatible mounting and supporting hardware. The frame, available space and door movement should be assessed before equipment is selected. An existing entrance may also have connected access controls that need to remain compatible. Photos are a helpful starting point, but an on-site inspection may be necessary to confirm the installation details.
Ask how the door will operate as part of the finished system. Locking, release and closing should be considered together. If the door has alignment or hardware problems, those should be discussed before an upgrade is approved. A clear proposal explains which parts are being installed and which existing components will remain in use.
770 Doors & Windows is a local, professional and insured service business. View the Long Island videos in our work section, then send photos of your own entrance and describe the functions you need. We can discuss the appropriate assessment based on your entrance, its current condition and the functions you want.
